June 2022East Meets West six-month report
Water supply project making a material difference to poor, rural households. East Meets West completes two (one male and one female) primary school latrine blocks in Pakxeng District, Luang Prabang Province for 212 students. Each block comprises three toilets.

December 2021East Meets West Annual Report
Completed two piped water systems at Pakkeng-Hadhuay and MuangKhai sites. These systems can produce 1,700 cubic meters of clean water per day. Currently 3,075 people in 615 households are connected to the systems.

Spellbrook entered into a three-year partnership agreement with GDG and Thrive Networks to fund feasibility studies, sanitation and training in the rural water, sanitation and hygiene sector. The project has a focus on poor, rural towns and village clusters in Luang Prabang Province, Laos.

November 2019Spellbrook enters agreement to fund East Meets West
The inaugural Elevations Laos Exhibition, entitled Depths, opened on the 9 November 2018. The Exhibition was co-funded by Spellbrook and the Australian Embassy and coincided with, and was inspired by, the first-ever inclusion of artists who live and work in Laos in the Asia Pacific Triennial (9th) in Brisbane, Australia, namely: Tcheu Siong, Bounpaul Phothyzan, and Souliya Phoumivong. The exhibition closed on 16 February 2019.

Elevations Laos charitable partnership is founded. Elevations Laos is a contemporary art initiative to motivate and stimulate the development of contemporary art practises in Laos. The partnership comprises Spellbrook, the Global Development Group and Lao partner STELLA.
